Message	Back in spring when I began my search for a 300zx TT I happened to come across the immaculate NA which I now own today. Why did you buy an NA if you were looking for a TT? Mistake #1 So just the other day my buddy and I went over to the local Nissan dealership to get some of the new belts tightened that I had installed with the early 60k and under drive pulley. If you installed them, why are you taking it to the dealership to have them tightened? Mistake #2. ...but what came out was $1,350. ROFLMAO Now that seems super low, and I'm sure the mechanic has no idea what he's in for. Damn skippy he doesn't However, if I were to get him to sign some sort of agreement (aside from the estimate) stating the price of the job (with $500 leeway or so), and what exactly was to be done, then why not go for it? It would be certified from the dealership, so it would have to be completed in working order. LOL! Good luck getting them to agree to something like that. Not gonna happen. Mistake #3 As a college student I can afford to not have my car for a couple days (I was told they could have it finished in two) BAHAHAHAHA....and you believed them? Mistake #4 Seriously, do not trust this type of project to a dealership. I assure you that estimate was not a quote and it is gauranteed to at least double before they are done. Find a mechanic or TT.netter who KNOWS Z32s and can tackle this type of project with some sort of competance. The dealership WILL cut corners. Or better yet, sell your immaculate NA dn buy an immacualte TT. Much easier, probably less expensive, and definately less headaches than a conversion. Good luck.
